Description:
JNK Llamas is a small farm focused on finding the perfect fit for owners and their llamas. The farms specializes in 4-H and pack-trained llamas. JNK’s small herd of 15 llamas includes some of the top packing and show llamas in the country, as well as cart llamas. Several of the farm’s llamas are registered Delta Society (now called Pet Partners) therapy pets, which make visits to local nursing facilities and Camp Korey.
In addition to llamas for show, JNK raises llamas for their beautiful fiber, which is very clean and of comparable quality to alpaca fiber. All their llamas are kept clean and sheared clean. Niki is a certified fiber judge for llamas.
Llamas can be good family pets, provided they are researched prior to purchase. In April or May every year, JNK Llamas offers a free day of information on owning and care of alpacas and llamas. Classes include packing, fiber arts, care and much more. Call, email or check the website for information.
