Description:
Situated along the North Fork of the Nooksack River near Deming, North Fork Gardens produces a range of fresh vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers for its weekly Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) boxes and the Ferndale Farmers Market. Produce includes such delicious offerings as Aronia berries, cherries, asparagus, eggplant and tomatoes. Dahlias, tulips and other cut flowers add color during the summer season.

North Fork Gardens is a farm in development, with a focus on extending the growing season into early spring and late fall through the use of hoop houses.

Certifications:
North Fork Gardens practices sustainable agriculture and uses no sprays unless certified for organic production.

Vegetables – arugula, asparagus, beans (green/wax), beets, bok choy, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, carrots, chard, edible flowers, eggplant, fennel, kale, leeks, lettuce, onions, peas, peppers (bell), potatoes, radishes, spinach, spring onions, summer and winter squash, tomatoes, and zucchini

Fruit & Berries – apples, Aronia berries, Asian pears, blueberries, and cherries

Culinary Herbs – basil and Italian parsley

Flowers & Plants – annuals, bamboo, cut flowers, dahlias, irises, lilies, native plants, ornamental grasses, perennials, rhododendrons and tulips
