Description:
Pleasant Valley Dairy has a small herd of dairy cattle, which are pasture-raised in a traditional and sustainable manner. The farm produces grade “A” raw milk and specialty raw milk cheeses. Cheese varieties include: European style Gouda, available with spices (caraway, cumin, jalapeno, fines herb, peppercorn, natural smoked); Farmstead, a firm and slightly tart cheese; and Swiss-style Mutschli, a firm smooth cheese with a nut-like flavor. Visitors are welcome to sample the cheeses. Milk is available for purchase in half-gallon containers.
