Description:
Rabbit Fields is a small organic farm situated on the fertile soil of the Nooksack River in Everson. Driven by young, enthusiastic energy and a passion for sustainable living practices, Rabbit Fields is dedicated to providing local, fresh, organic produce to Whatcom County while preserving and maintaining its farmland.
CSA and Bunny Bucks
Rabbit Fields’ Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program provides an opportunity for community members to make a connection with local farmers and their food through the purchase of a farm share. Shares include a weekly box of assorted seasonal produce, innovative recipes that help you utilize the delicious produce in your CSA, and a monthly newsletter to update you about what is happening in the fields and the farming community. The CSA runs 20 weeks from early June to the third week in October.
Rabbit Fields’ farm account program, Bunny Bucks, is a prepaid account system that supports the farmer as the season is starting. The Bunny Bucks program gives customers 10 percent more purchase power, and allows them the flexibility of shopping at the Rabbit Fields Farm farmers market booth on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the season, April through December.
