Description:
Silver Springs is a family-owned creamery with a small herd of Jersey cows and LaMancha goats. The creamery produces artisanal cheese, yogurt, milk and gourmet ice cream. Cheese varieties include Jeddar (a nutty, sharp cheddar), La Jersey (a semi-hard cheese), Gouda, LaGouda, The “Big D” (an aged hard cheese made from goat milk) and Classic (an aged hard cheese from cow milk).
Visitors are welcome to view the cheese cellar and the production process (when in operation). The farm store offers cheese sampling.
Certifications:
Certified Salmon Safe. Silver Springs Creamery views sustainability as a priority. The farm grows its own feed without chemicals or inorganic fertilizers.
