Description:
Smit’s is a third generation dairy farm offering compost, soil and worms for gardeners. Looking for an environmentally-responsible solution for managing the manure produced by its dairy cows, Smit’s began transforming the cow manure and wood shaving bedding into nutrient rich compost and soil products.
In addition to producing compost and dirt for pots or topsoil (available by the yard), the farm grows red wiggler worms (available by the pound) for home composters.
