Description:
Stoney Ridge is a family-owned farm that seeks to educate the community about agriculture. Open for private tours and school tours by appointment, with fall and winter activities, the farm is focused on providing fun for children and families.
Fall activities feature the pumpkin patch (the county’s largest), U-pick and we-pick apples from the farm’s orchard, hay rides, train rides, farm animals and goat walk, and a corn maze. Fresh-pressed pasteurized cider, hot dogs, and baked goods (including mini cider donuts, caramel apple pie and pumpkin pie) are sold at the gift shop and snack stand.
In December, the farm sells U-cut, pre-cut and live Christmas trees: Noble Firs, Grand Firs, Douglas Firs and Nordmann Firs. Food is available, including caramel apple, pumpkin and berry pies, cider and hot dogs. Visitors can enjoy snacks by the bonfire and view the Live Animal Nativity, including “Moses” the camel.
