Description:
Located in Ferndale, Twisted S Ranch raises its all natural bison (buffalo) on native grasses free of pesticides. Buffalo meat tastes similar to beef, and is lower in fat, calories and cholesterol than skinless chicken. The meat is high in iron, protein, B-12 and essential fatty acids.
Twisted S sells a range of buffalo cuts, including bison steaks, roasts, burger patties, jerky, sausage, bison dogs and short ribs. Visitors are welcome at the ranch from 9 am to 4 pm on weekends, or by appointment to view the herd and shop at the on-site store for meat and related items.
